Terms of Service

1. Application and acceptance

These Terms apply to all access to and use of the anonymous message board Ousama no Mimi wa Roba no Mimi (the “Service”), including viewing, posting, and reporting. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Content and Safety Policy.

2. Nature of the Service

• The Service is an anonymous message board that permits text and image posts without account registration. We do not guarantee that you cannot be identified.
• A thread and its posts stop being public 24 hours after the thread is created. Replies do not extend that deadline.
• A poster may delete their post if the deletion credential issued to the same browser remains available. Deletion credentials cannot be reissued.

3. Eligibility

• You may use the Service only if you can validly agree to these Terms under applicable law.
• The adult area is limited to people aged 18 or older. You must not evade age checks or provide a false age declaration.

4. Poster responsibilities

• You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and valid consent from every depicted person required for your post.
• For adult content involving real people, you must verify that every depicted person was at least 18 both when the material was created and when it was posted, and consented to both creation and publication.
• You are responsible for resolving third-party disputes caused by your post, except to the extent the operator is responsible.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Violations of law, public order, or binding court or government orders
• Infringement of copyright, likeness, privacy, reputation, trade secrets, or other third-party rights
• Doxxing, threats, harassment, discriminatory attacks, impersonation, fraud, or solicitation of illegal transactions
• Malware, excessive repeated posting, automated disruption, or evasion of access controls or safety checks
• Child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, voyeurism, revenge pornography, sexual deepfakes, trafficking, coercion, or other sexual exploitation
• Posting material prohibited by the Content and Safety Policy, reposting removed material, or facilitating violations

6. Licence to operate the Service

You retain your rights in submitted content. You grant the operator a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use that content only as necessary to provide, secure, display, deliver, reformat, create thumbnails for, moderate, and legally operate the Service. The licence continues after normal expiry only as needed for legal preservation, audit, or backup purposes.

7. Moderation

• The operator may reject, hide, remove, preserve, or otherwise restrict content or a board without prior notice where reasonably needed for safety, reports, rights claims, or legal compliance.
• The operator has no obligation to monitor every post. Automated review can make mistakes, and publication is not guaranteed.
• For immediate danger to life or safety or an active crime, contact the police or emergency services in addition to reporting to the Service.

8. Reports and takedowns

Use the report control on a post or the Takedown page for rights, privacy, or policy concerns. We may ask for identity or rights verification and supporting material. We do not guarantee an individual response or disclosure of moderation reasons.

9. Changes or suspension

The operator may change, interrupt, or end all or part of the Service for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, disasters, or external service failures. Material changes will be displayed on the Service where reasonably possible.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided as available. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of posts, uninterrupted availability, or preservation of data. The operator remains responsible for damage attributable to the operator as required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these Terms

The operator may amend these Terms where reasonable in light of the need for and substance of the change. The amended terms and effective date will be posted before they take effect. Continued use after that date is subject to the amended Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. To the extent permitted by law, courts in Japan having jurisdiction over the operator’s location will have exclusive jurisdiction at first instance.
